Miami-Dade DERM Interceptor Requirements
MIFAB® manufactures a complete range of third party tested 99% efficient hydromechanical grease interceptors to meet the latest Miami Dade DERM requirements – as specified in the FOG 2.5 Control Device Guidance Manual. A solids interceptor is required before the grease interceptor, and a sampling port is required after the grease interceptor.

Miami-Dade DERM’s sizing requirements considers the GPM flow rate and the grease production of the restaurant in order to design the correct grease interceptor system. MIFAB®‘s “Size my Interceptor” interactive sizing software makes it easy to size the correct model for your project. The Miami-Dade DERM FOG 2.5 Guidance Manual does not specify the requirements of the solids interceptor and sample port to be used with the grease interceptor. The design engineer will specify this equipment. MIFAB® manufactures all of our grease, oil, solids and specialty interceptors in our Chicago factory.
